Andy Sheppard's latest project, premiered this year at Jazz sous les Pommiers in Coutances, Normandy, remixes the music of France's cult songwriter in characteristically inventive style, with a heavily rock-tinged Anglo-French band that includes spoken word artist Ma Chenka, guitarists Nguyen Le and Massive Attack's Angelo Bruschini, bassist Michel Benita and the inimitable Sebastian Rochford on drums.
