27 December 2008. Jazz Pianist in the British Jazz awards six times and was made a Fellow of Leeds College of Music in 2003. His reputation was forged by his work with Alan Barnes coupled with his skill accompanying singers such as Carol Kidd or Stacey Kent. His versatility provides for a diverse evening in which the listener never feels the need for another voice.
