Vauxhall UK Beatbox Championships Final

Dates: 20.6.2009. Welcome to ukbeatboxchampionships.com, home of the Vauxhall UK Beatbox Championships 2008 - only here can you pit your voice box against the finest beatboxers in the country to win the grand prize - a brand new Vauxhall Corsa. Armed only with a microphone and your vocal chords, you will have to fight to the end in a series of ONE-ON-ONE '8-mile' style battles to take the trophy. We'll be touring the country throughout February, holding 4 heats nationwide to find the top 8 beatboxers in the UK. These 8 will then battle it out at the Grand Final at the London Islington Carling Academy on June 13th, 2008. The 2008 competition will be even more exciting as the current champion, Beardyman, is stepping down! This can mean only one thing.....next year will be a guaranteed new winner! Some will be saddened by this, as Beardyman is such a great entertainer. Others will be thrilled, namely, the contestants! The Final is set to be huge, with judging duties being handled by 2007 champion Beardyman, Shlomo, and Killa Kela. The crowd will be hit with showcases from Beardyman and Shlomo, and a set by Killa Kela with his full band. We can't wait to see who steps up to the plate to be the next UK Champ. But only one beatboxer can take the grand prize, and become the 2008 Vauxhall UK Beatbox Champion. Featuring Shlomo, Beardyman, Ill-Commotion DJ\'s, Hosted by Stig of the Dump.
