AD50 - Present Day

Dates: 1.1.2009 to 31.12.2009. The Museum explores the story of London's River, Port and People, from Roman settlement of the port, through to the recent regeneration of London's former Docklands - a 2000-year storyline. The permanent displays pay homage to the people who helped to build and shape the City of London- and those who continue to do so. Artefacts, engravings, paintings, testimonies and photographs drawn from the outstanding collections of the Museum of London and the Port of London Authority, emphasize the skills and ingenuity of Dockland communities.
