Orpheus in the Underworld

Dates: 28.4.2009 to 3.5.2009. A play in which the portal to the underworld is a wheelie bin through which Orpheus enters in search of his dead wife Eurydice. The underworld is a land of discarded, unwanted or broken objects and waste materials. Pushing the boundaries of object theatre, the production highlights the throw-away society we live in. All objects used in this production were discarded their use has bestowed upon them a new life with new meaning.
