Henry VIII: Man and Monarch

Dates: 22.4.2009 to 6.9.2009. 2009 marks 500 years since Henry VIII took the throne. David Starkey will guest-curate the Henry's own library: the books that he chose, read and annotated held by the British Library. These will be accompanied by loans - pictures, tapestry, armour, plate, jewellery and sculpture.
