Alexander Fleming Laboratory Museum - Collection

Dates: 1.1.2008 to 31.12.2009. Penicillin was discovered by Alexander Fleming in a small laboratory at St Mary's Hospital in 1928. This discovery revolutionised medicine and there are very few people whose lives have not benefited from it. The laboratory has been restored to its former, cramped condition.
