Cara Dillon

10 October 2009. Born in 1975 and raised in Dungiven, Co. Derry, Cara Dillon comes from a family steeped in the Irish musical tradition. After winning the 2002 BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for Best Traditional Song & Best Newcomer, she has become one of the leading lights of the new generation of young traditional artists.
