After The Fire: Rebuilding the City

Dates: 1.1.2009 to 31.12.2009. Curator Vicky Roberton will demonstrate through the museums collections the processes involved in rebuilding London after the destruction caused by the Great Fire of 1666. Sir Christopher Wren and John Nash, the two dominant architects of the day, greatly influenced the redevelopment of the new city.
