Trapped

Dates: 2.6.2009. Conjuring up a Kafkaesque landscape, five characters are caught up in a world of absurd bureaucracy. State-induced fear and a warped sense of reality are entwined to form a subtle commentary on both the CCTV-laden world of today and the bygone days of the former German Democratic Republic. A tragic comic world, both poetic and dark, is evoked through original music, contemporary mime and striking choreography. Supported by the Mercury Theatre, Colchester and Laban Theatre.
